A Big Shout to City Bark Centennial! I love taking my dog there. The Staff is amazing! They take care of your dog as if it is there’s. They even have a dog groomer and dog trainer on site! It’s so convenient to be able to have that option. Your fur babies are in good hands! 🙌 …

I started taking my puppy here when I adopted her to help with socialization. The staff here are absolutely wonderful and greet her enthusiastically every day. Bonnie is so excited to see them and can hardly wait to get to the door whenever we get there. I can tell from how they interact with her and how she responds to them that they genuinely care about her and the other dogs in their care. I love this place so much that even after I changed jobs, I drive out of my way to bring Bonnie here because I know she will be cared for exceptionally well!

We've had a hit or miss experience with City Bark. Every time we walk in it takes 5+ minutes to have someone help us even with multiple people standing around. The turnover for workers is really high and there are always new people who haven't been trained. We paid for a night of boarding and the silver package, meaning that he is out to play in the yard during the day. Our dog has separation anxiety and it's best if he can be with other dogs. I clarified twice that he will be out with other dogs. I picked him up from boarding and was informed that he had not been outside with the other dogs. I brought him home and he drank 3 bowls of water and was super dehydrating making me believe that he wasn't given water either while he was left in his crate. We really want a good experience for our dog. We rarely board him because he doesn't enjoy it, but sometimes we have to. Disappointed that City Bark doesn't live up to other facilities in the area. UPDATE: I have called twice with no answer and have sent a detailed email with no response. If you’re going to request more info please be communicative

Like many others on here, I had a pretty mixed experience with City Bark following a 2 day boarding experience. Previously I’d brought my dog for day boarding following his neutering surgery (needed him to be supervised so he didn’t rip the stitches). I appreciate the later pickup time (8 pm) compared to other nearby facilities. The place is also very clean. However, I boarded my dog from Wednesday night to Friday afternoon. We added the daytime play package (silver so he could have the whole day and a late pickup). While on vacation, we checked the cameras and kept seeing that our dog was in his boarding room alone. I appreciated the cameras and being able to check in on him, but I was not thrilled to see that he was cooped up ALL DAY. I called Thursday night to see why he wasn’t playing and they said there was a paperwork mixup and he would get to go play then (at that point like 1-2 hours only). The next day, the same thing happened (another phone call revealed a second mixup) and he barely got any playtime. At pickup, I had a family member come get my dog for the last couple days of my trip (rather than keep boarding him) and they were given bedding that did not belong to him. We took it back the next day but I’ve seen other reviews mentioning mixed up belongings and food so thought I’d mention it here. The staff was very friendly and apologetic (we are particularly appreciative to Lindsey for helping look into the problem) and we were refunded for the play packages and some other peak season fees. Ultimately that’s all they could really do, but it was a disappointing experience. When you’re on vacation you don’t want to be stressing about your pet and unfortunately we were. We may return for daycare (again, love the later pickup time so he can maximize play), but will likely go elsewhere for boarding.

Leaving our puppy at puppy preschool was like taking a kindergartner to their first day of school. It was great to get the “paw”gress report with pics and all the really good details from the staff on how he was doing…totally accurate in documenting his personality in different aspects of play. I had also emailed the trainer (Hunter) that works there about doing an initial evaluation on if he thought we could do a little extra training on how to teach gentleness to the puppy in playing with our older dog. I let him know Charlie would be at puppy preschool on a specific date and he gave THE BEST feedback in being able to watch him with other dogs. All around, SUPER helpful!!! We will be back and probably use many services.

We boarded our two dogs in a private suite with a few days of added day care play time during an extended trip abroad and had a mixed experience with City Bark. The staff is very nice and friendly, and the facilities seem clean and relatively new. The prices seemed reasonable (not the cheapest option, not the most expensive) and they offer plenty of services such as grooming, and various training/play package add-ons. The negatives of our experience were the following: This location has no cameras, which not only helps us feel more connected to the dogs while we have to be away, but also gives us confidence that the dogs are being treated well. The reason they give for not having cameras is that essentially "they just haven't installed them yet." We will probably drive further to a different location that has cameras until this becomes a priority for this location to install. In the absence of cameras we wanted to know how our dogs were doing (if they were eating normal amounts, showing any anxiety, destroying their beds, etc.) and we found that the communication is poor at best. Many times we called during business hours, on several different days, and the phone would ring until going to voicemail. They were more responsive by text. Additionally, they told us both of our dogs managed to get out of their private suite one of the days and the staff showed up to the two of them roaming around inside the building but outside all the designated dog areas. One of our dogs had a very minor wound on the bridge of her nose and there was blood smears on about 20% of her bed. When I asked about it the staff didn't know she had a wound and had no notes about when/how it happened. To be clear, I don't think this was their fault but to not be aware of it at all is not ideal. And lastly, we asked for exit baths and nail trims (scheduled more than two weeks in advance, and then confirmed at the start of their 11 day stay) and received a text the night before their checkout that they wouldn't be able to get to their baths, without any further reason given.

Such a wonderful place. The location is convenient, the building is well designed, and they have a lot of services/amenities. My dog is always happy when we show up. The people who work here are kind, thoughtful and really love animals. I absolutely trust them with my baby.
